Amilen® PEx

Amilen® PEx is our polyethylene-based coextruded film, designed for compatibility with recycling streams. With an 11-layer PE/EVOH/PE structure, it delivers a high oxygen barrier and extended shelf life, and withstands thermal treatments up to 90°C for 2 hours — ideal for in-pack pasteurization as well.

Its strength lies in the balance between performance and circularity: the EVOH barrier provides the protection needed for perishable products, while PE enables compatibility with mechanical recycling streams. The material is certified as recyclable by the cyclos-HTP Institute.

Combilen® PEx

Combilen® PEx is our polyethylene-based laminated filmfor top and flowpack applications, designed to achieve high recyclability performance. Thanks to its PE/EVOH/PE structure, it delivers a high oxygen barrier, extended shelf life, and resistance to thermal treatments up to 90°C for 2 hours — suitable for both vacuum and MAP packaging, as well as pasteurized foods.

Beyond its protective performance, it stands out for excellent machinability and printability (sandwich printing), making it versatile across different packaging lines. The material is certified as recyclable by the cyclos-HTP Institute.

What if you could get more, using less? With greengauging, you can. This process is commonly known as “downgauging”, but we renamed it to reflect that it’s not simply about cutting down surplus. What we do is reduce the thickness of our packaging while maintaining strength and function.
