Beyond printing: the people behind the process
21.10.2026

Great print quality is about more than technology. It takes expertise, attention to detail and close collaboration with customers to turn expectations into outstanding results.

In food packaging, printing plays a crucial role in how a product is perceived. Colors, images and graphic details communicate a brand's identity, help products stand out on the shelf and reinforce consumers' trust. Achieving the desired result, however, takes much more than state-of-the-art technology. It requires expertise, precision and a shared commitment to getting every detail right.

At Niederwieser, people and expertise go hand in hand to deliver the best possible results.

Every detail matters

A successful printing process starts well before the film reaches the printing machine. From artwork preparation and color management to material compatibility and technical specifications, every detail can influence the final result.

Our prepress team works closely with customers to review artwork, check graphic elements and identify potential issues before production begins. By sharing technical expertise and recommending adjustments where needed, we help prevent avoidable errors, minimize unexpected challenges and ensure that the final packaging reflects the customer's expectations as closely as possible.

Color consistency is another essential part of this process. Brand colors need to remain recognizable and consistent across production runs, even when a packaging design is reproduced months or years later. Through structured procedures, color references and instrumental checks, we work to ensure reliable, repeatable results over time.

This attention to detail reflects our approach to customer service: we don't simply execute a brief. We actively contribute our expertise to help customers achieve the best possible outcome.

Working side by side, from preparation to print

Every packaging project has its own requirements and challenges. That's why we believe the best results come from working together, exchanging knowledgeandaddressing potential issuesbefore they become problems.

Our team supports customers throughout the process, combining technical know-how with direct communication and practical advice. And our commitment doesn't stop once the artwork has been approved.

Customers also have the opportunity to visit our production facilitiesand attend the printing start-up alongside our team. This is a valuable moment to review the printed film together, fine-tune the result where necessary and ensure that the agreed quality standards are met. It allows everyone involved to share the same expectations and work towards a common goal.

This is what being personal means in practice: being available, understanding each customer's needs and taking shared responsibility for the success of every project.

Schnitzer and Niederwieser: a partnership built on trust

Our recent meeting with the Schnitzer team at our Campogalliano plant offered a practical example of this approach. During the visit, we explored our prepress and printing processes, discussed quality requirements and printed Schnitzer's own films on our production line.

The hands-on session created an opportunity to exchange expertise, review the results together and discuss next steps, including the evolving requirements for recyclable packaging solutions.

More than a production visit, it was an opportunity to strengthen a long-standing relationship through direct collaboration and shared knowledge.

Personal attention. Shared success.

For us, high-quality printing is the result of combining the right technology with the right people and a collaborative mindset. By paying attention to every detail, anticipating challenges and involving customers throughout the process, we aim to deliver packaging that meets their expectations and supports their brands.

Because being more than a supplier means being a partner: one who works alongside you, brings expertise to the table and remains committed to your success, today and in the long run.
