The first step in creating plastic films is extrusion. An industrial process that melts the polymers in the form of granules that then are modelled into films. Using modern technology, we produce multilayer laminates with two production systems: 11-layer coextrusion and extrusion coupling. Three fully automated lines guarantee a production capacity of 45,000 tons / year.

The mother reels of multilayer films are cut into the sizes requested by the customers and then conveyed to the automatic packaging line. A robotic system takes care of the palletization, packaging and labelling of products, thus excluding any type of cross-contamination. Thanks to an ERP management system, all production data is recorded, from order entry to logistics planning, guaranteeing complete and total traceability of the batches, from the granulate to the reel.

This process allows uniting two or more films of different nature, combining their properties and characteristics to create a unique solution. Taking into account the technical specifications of the materials to be laminated, they are united by means of solvent or solventless adhesives, designed for each type of application and, where necessary, resistant to heat treatments up to 121 °.

Every year Niederwieser produces more than 60 million square meters of various types of pouches using 15 dedicated lines for pouches (flat or single-fold), embossed bellows and rolls, with the possibility of accessory processing. Our high precision machines exclusively Made in Italy, are subject to constant quality control and maintenance.

Embossing is the impression by heat of a pattern on the surface of a plastic film creating a relief. Pouches made from embossed films, unlike smooth ones, have different applications. In fact, the special surface facilitates the vacuuming on machines with external suction for domestic use.

Thanks to our two flexographic printing machines, we are able to customize the products graphically. This printing technique stands out for its versatility, perfect results and reduced set-up times that allow us to react quickly to customer requests. Our team covers every stage of the processing cycle. The pre-press office supervises the project as a whole, while the press department coordinates the set-up of the machines, the preparation of the colours with an internal automatic colour dosing system and participates in the printing start-up with the customer.

There is space for more than 4000 pallets; one thousand are entirely dedicated to the stock of standard pouches. To date, the number of in-stock items exceeds three hundred, guaranteeing a constant supply and shipping within five working days. Precision and speed are the main virtues of our team. We cooperate with specialized companies to optimize shipments for different geographical areas. In compliance with the quality standards, all our products come with an external protective packaging to avoid any kind of contamination during movement and storage.
